These are the nicer Megalodon teeth I found diving over the last three days. The nicest are the 2.75″ Benedini and 4-1/4″ Megalodon Tooth with loads of pyrite in the root and bourrelet.
8/20/11 These are my nicer teeth from the past week. The teeth in the front row are all over 5″ and the four on the left of the second row are 4-7/8″. My boat is down for a few days and I am already climbing the walls.
Today’s finds. Megalodon teeth and a Gomphotherium tooth. The nicest Megalodon tooth is the 5 inch lower tooth near the center. The gomph is worn but mostly intact. The Gompotherium was an early mammal very similar to a modern elephant which lived aprox. 5 million years ago. The teeth are nearly identical to the Mastodon.
